Jessica Rodriguez
Hello! My name is Jessica Rodriguez, and I am a proud first-generation Mexican-American with a lifelong passion for education, culture, and the performing arts.
For more than 10 years, I had the privilege of dancing with a local Ballet Folklórico organization, where I developed not only strong technical skills but also a deep appreciation for the history, traditions, and storytelling woven into Mexican folkloric dance. That passion naturally evolved into teaching, and for the past eight years, I have been honored to teach Ballet Folklórico to both children and adults, helping students build confidence, discipline, cultural pride, and a love for dance at every stage of their journey.
Beyond the studio, I have a background in Early Childhood Education and extensive experience working with young learners. My educational training allows me to create engaging, age-appropriate, and inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive. As a fluent bilingual educator in both English and Spanish, I am committed to fostering meaningful connections with students, adult learners, and families from diverse backgrounds.
Whether in the classroom or on the dance studio, my mission is to inspire others by celebrating culture, encouraging creativity, and creating welcoming spaces where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered.
